Calateral loan or Pawn works is like this - Lets say you are a little short on meeting your monthly bills and you need a little extra cash. In order to borrow $1500.00 you have to put up something for collateral that is worth at least $2500 to $3000 this is to insure you will come back and pay the loan off. If not then the business is covered. The loan is a 30 day loan at 15% for small items tools, jewelry, etc. or 20% for large items such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats etc. What this means is if you pawn your car for $1500 your pay back is going to be $1800.00 that is your $1500 plus $300 finance charge. In the event you are unable to pay back the $1800 after 30 days, you can come in and pay the $300 Finance charge and that will buy you another 30 days and you can do this as long as you need to, there is no time limit. In other words if you need to borrow $100.00 you need to bring in something worth $300.00
We also buy items out right if you just want to sell you item and do not want it back. We do buys and pawns the same way. We pay between 1/3 and 1/2 of what the item is worth.
Retil sales - Most people go into a pawn shop to borrow money - they don't realize they can come into our shop and save money as well. What I mean by that is we carry a wide varity of item such as tools, jewelry, electronics, cars, truck, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers you name it and more that likely we have it. We buy a lot of brand new, brand named item such as Dewalt and Craftsman from wholesalers. The old way of thinking of a Pawn Shop as a place to buy and sell stolen items is just not true anymore. We have strick guidelines to follow and all items must clear the police department before we can re-sell them.
Towing - With the help of Yates Towing and our own fleet of tow trucks we are now able to offer local and long distance towing. We work closely with Yates Towing to handle a lot of our towing. We have found dealing with Yates has always been reasonable and Ernie has always given us great service with a smile. If you still have that old beater sitting in your back yard with weeds growing up around it give us a call and we will arange to have it towed away for free. Going on vacation and need someone to car sit for you?? Give us a call, we can store your car in our fenced in secured off location lot for you until you get back home.
Small Engine Repair - We also do some light small engine repair work on lawn mowers, go-karts, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers etc. Pick up and delivery service is also available.
